Faith Hill = Kanye West
Blog Crush has the video from the CMA's. Just skip to the 35 second mark and watch Faith Hill flip out when Carrie Underwood's name is announced. Someone, somewhere, must have the rest of that footage . . .
Obviously copying someone's else's shtick makes you less funny than the person who did it first. But what's more likely, that she was so filled with rage at having lost a Country Music Award (!) that she couldn't contain herself, even though she knew she was being filmed (and that such an outburst might tarnish her image), OR that she was making a joke? I know almost nothing about Faith Hill, and am perfectly willing to believe that she's some kind of psychotic Hollywood nutjob in the mold of Jennifer Lopez or Ashley Judd, but I think what's going on here is that people want to believe the crazy story, because it's more fun.
Are we sure she wasn't joking? I'm thinking she was pulling the Bill Murray Oscar shtick.
