Distraction

Just a few days ago Matus and I had our annual bracket lunch. Looking at my initial picks, I said to him, "But this is crazy--I've picked chalk everywhere with almost no upsets. That can't happen." So I went back to the drawing board to find the upsets that were obviously hidden in the field.

Yeah.

So if you need a distraction too, check out this positively insane story about an Aussie guy who built himself a flight simulator. What's that, you say? How interesting could that story be? Check out the teaser photo:

What's that, you say? Mrs. Last and Mrs. Matus are in first place in the NCAA pool? :)

Sadly, it's not Vic. It's Mrs. Last, throwing a few loving elbows. : ) This may well be my last day atop the standings, which is probably deserved considering I did my bracket in under three minutes. Couldn't resist the pride before the fall. : )

    "I've picked chalk"

WTF? Do you work for ESPN now? What's next, "throwing someone under the bus"?

If you were going to buy a golf club, you wouldn't walk into a store and buy the first one you see, would you? Of course not; especially if you want to improve your golf game! You'll want to hold the club, take some practice swings, hit some balls if the store has a practice spot, and look at the price, of course. If you are considering buying running shoes, you need to go through a similar process and take the time to find the perfect shoe.
