So they were not twins (or were they? or just a subtle remark on how modern englishmen all looked and dressed alike? I've never been sure about that.) And only one was named 'Thompson.'
That just makes it more odd. Not sure what the band was going for with that reference. Professor Calculus seems much more New Wave.
