I've been busy. I have pieces posted now on the Cheney and Miller speeches and an anti-Kerry play (in New York City, of all places).

In his speech Vice President Cheney used this line, "Senator Kerry began his political career by saying he would like to see our troops deployed "only at the directive of the United Nations."

Jim Lehrer and the commentators on PBS doubted the veracity of the line so I dug up the 1970 article in the Harvard Crimson and it's a doozy, pure Kerry being Kerry.
