Done right, gloating can be an art form. For my part, I'll be happy to buy Steve Hayes lunch this week.

Get Hayes to go double or nothing on the NFC Championship. That way, if, nay, when the Birds lose, you'll owe him nothing, and if they win, the Armageddon will keep you from having to buy him two lunches. What were you thinking with that bet anyway? You know the divisional round isn't the one you have to worry about.
Of course, this may just be irrational negativism. I was convinced they would lose when Culpepper ran for that touchdown in the second quarter. The jump ball to Marcus Robinson that set that up is a prime example of why I still don't trust Lito Sheppard.
