More Clint Eastwood on War
Loathe as I am to do politics here, I have a mean-spirited and probably too-angry-by-half post about Clint Eastwood's new-found moral relativism over at the WorldWide Standard.

I guess that Clint's train of thought can be traced back to "Where Eagles Dare" in which nobody knew who the good guys were, or perhaps "Kelly's Heroes" when the Germans helped to rob the gold...
And I remember his long discourse in Dirty Harry about the duality of man, before he shot the suspect...
Does anyone really pay attention to this stuff anymore? Honestly, I could really give a shit about stuff the Grammy Awards, the Oscars, et al. I used to pay attention but it just sort of went flat for me. Life sorta took over.
I've said it once and I'll say it again, bring back the old Galley Slaves! You can still write about movies, video games, and porn, but how about throwing a few jabs at Andrew Sullivan for old times sake. Please?

I heard that Letters was really inspired by Every Which Way But Loose and Any Which Way You Can.
