Malapropism of the Week

"To me, it's not rocket surgery."

David Lee Roth on the inevitability of a Van Halen reunion.

That's beautiful. When my kids are in needy mode, my two favorite expressions are "it's not rocket science" and "it's not brain surgery." It will make it so much easier for me to remember only one expression!

In all likelihood, DLR meant to say it exactly as it came out. That is the way he talks. I am with the bookworm - I am going to steal this one and use it with my kids.
