They're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat

No, seriously. Matus has a fascination with the hammerhead that I've never quite understood, but the series of pictures in that link are sort of beyond comprehension. I mean, the dude's trying to land a 15-foot shark on a 23-foot boat.

Sure, I get it. It's early Friday morning and you can't be bothered to follow the link. Well, how's this for a teaser?

Mr. Last,

You have a male "blog crush." You go on snarkily and breathlessly about Hollywood happenings. Mr. Cremale does appear to be made of stern stuff but under the circumstances don't you think your chosen plaudit was damning with faint praise?

But he's the kind of man that you'd want, you homo.

Serioulsy, in one of those photo's they are dragging the shark by the tail. That is the best way to drown the shark.

Decadent Elasmobranchii. Between Jaws and today, what has the shark world become. Woe. Woe.

This is obviously "Old Hitler" a notorious hammerhead that has been snarfing tarpon off the lines in boca for years. He was a legend and a tourist attraction. Why would somebody come an kill him? Not much sport, he's there all the time!
