Greatest Terrorist in the World?

That would be President George W. Bush, according to calypso singer Harry Belafonte. On a recent trip to Venezuela where he enjoyed the company of dictator Hugo Chavez, Belafonte had this to say: "No matter what the greatest tyrant in the world, the greatest terrorist in the world, George W. Bush says, we're here to tell you: Not hundreds, not thousands, but millions of the American people ... support your revolution." (I'd hate to be his agent right now.) I know, it's not surprising. But it's nevertheless disappointing.

Yes, but former Republican presidential candidate Pat Robertson called for Chavez' assasination. That might be worse.

Yeah! Our government doesn't wish to terrorize people! We prefer to shock and awe them!

We are a perfectly good nation with a perfectly good President who never makes any mistakes!

I thought the greatest terrorist in the world is Ari Fleischer....

Mr. Belafonte should get his facts straight

k, even if what you say is true that is still a far cry from the greatest terrorist in the world. Perhaps Harry got caught up in the moment and couldn't help himself?

Sounds like you've got a case of the vapors yourself.

Okay, Belafonte's claim to fame is that about 50 years ago he had a hit song about loading bananas onto a boat. That's pretty much it.

So why exactly do people pay any attention to him at all?

Day-O! Day-ay-ay-O!

Is "a case of the vapors" something similar to a "thunderous bout of gas?

If so I have seen a doctor and there isn't much they can do. I apologize for the noise and odor.

Maybe he means "greatest terrorist in the world" as a compliment? If you're the greatest something at least your good at something. Someday I'm sure Harry B will found out what he's good at, and perhaps he'll be kind enough to tell us when he does.
