If this item from Drudge is true, it's even more shocking than the booing Kerry got at Fenway. Not a good sign for him.

What, you can't love rick music AND be a Republican?
Get over it.

It's the ultimate in arrogance to believe that 100% of those at the VMA awards ceremony would be slaves to Kerry.

Remember the booing that Michael Moore got at the Academy Awards ceremony? Gee, I thought everyone in Hollywood was a left/liberal Democrat.

I guess not . . .

Some guy in a metal band was being interviewed by some snotty journalist in Toronto a while back and finally came out with, "Hey, if we were really the big bad imperialists you say we are, man, Canada would be the 51st state."

The Daily Recycler has a video clip of the booing, and of the Kerry daughters shushing and scolding the crowd as well.

CNN reports that the Bush daughters were presnt via video link and they also were booed.

The best part of the spectacle was Bruce Willis sitting there with a wry smirk on his face. I think the audience wanted to get them all off the event.

don't rush to judgement. from what i saw the booing was obviously directed towards the bush daughters.

...directed towards the Bush girls?!?!

I think you need to watch the video again and read CNNs account...

The Kerry girls talk, then the Bush girls pop up on the video, then it is thrown back to the Kerry girls.

The BOOing starts before the Bush girls show up on the video.
