If Ang Lee included a scene in which the gay cowboys eat pudding, I'll see it.
"A movie that only a bigot would hate." I think I saw that on some of their movie poster.
Douthat quotes critic Ken Tucker as saying Ledger's performance is as good as the best of Brando. Which to a lot of us means only one thing: "Vito Corleone."
So, our subject will be Vito Corleone visits Breakback Mountain. Discuss.
I thought I saw on their move posters the reviwer tag line:
"The Citizen K ane of gay cowboy movies"

At least we can be sure that Hollywood stands firmly behind the American people.
It'll be on DVD by Valentines Day and in the $5.50 Walmart rack by the ides of March.
This is a phrase that I think may never be uttered in America: "I'm on my way to Wal-Mart to pick up the DVD of Brokeback Mountain."
Anyone who goes on record criticizing gay cowboys is going to pay for it the rest of his or her life. If they're in showbiz, that is.
some remarks i have read here really do prove that so many supposedly straight men are really in the closet. the movie will go down in history as a breakthrough for the rights of gay people.
