More ESPN

I don't want to give the impression that I hate ESPN--I don't. I hate what ESPN has become. So here's a little reminder of the good old days. Note the genius of Kenny Mayne.

Is there anyway we can sue Disney for visitation rights so we can sometimes see the old ESPN?

Did anyone catch the Dan Patrick Show on ESPN Radio today (9-28)? The first hour was a defense of the T.O. attempted suicide story that ESPN blew.

ESPN woke up this morning like a hung-over frat boy that just realized it had sex with a goat the night before.

Note also that pre-limo driver killing Jayson Williams has a supporting role. The good old days.

I saw a commercial today for ESPN the Visa card. Pretty soon it'll be ESPN the lunchbox, ESPN the breakfast cereal, ESPN the flame thrower...

My favorite Kenny Mayne moment:

I remember one time I came home from a basketball game, and my grandmother was waiting up for us. She said, "Whoopeee!"

I said, "Can it, grandma. We got smoked and I rode the pines the whole game. Now sit back because I'm going to cheat you at Scrabble and bit the fat on your arms."

The worthless Stuart Scott was rendered even more worthless than usual, since he spent the next five minutes laughing.
