While Daily Kos and Howard Dean have been getting a lot of (deserved) attention, other Democrats are laboring for the soul of liberalism, too. Peter Beinart has an instructive piece in today's Washington Post. It's good to remember that despite all their noise, Dean and Kos aren't the entire Democratic party. In fact, if you count votes and not decibels, they're probably a minority.

Thus begging the question: What's more important to the party, votes, or money?

It should be the votes, but lately, I'm thinking it's the money.
