In Case There Were Any Doubts . . .

. . . we're now into the hard-alcohol portion of the Eagles' season.

I predict they go 1-2 over the next three-week stretch where they have the Redskins, Giants, and Cowboys. After that they'll be 5-5 and the calls will come out to put McNabb in for surgery now and scrap the season.

Even thought TO hasn't been close to the player he was last year, a stretch of 2 divisional games with a receiving corp of Lewis, Brown, and McMullen just means its going to be a long rest of the season.

I gotta say I still don't miss Freddie "Not-Even-the-Packers-will-sign-me" Mitchell or Pinkston.

Also, I think the time to switch to hard alcohol was in first quarter of the season opener against Atlanta when McNabb got injured.

Look at you. You sorry, sad wretch of a traitor.

I mean, first you doubt the housing sector of the American economy.

(And I for one will not stand idly by while anybody badmouths the United States of America!)

Then, you're all down on that filthy little rag you're constantly pimping.

And now you abandon hope in your football team.

What kind of a man are you, Jonathan? MY COMMENTS ARE WEARING YOU DOWN, AREN'T THEY?!? IF YOU CAN'T TAKE THE HEAT, GET OUT OF THE BLOGOSPHERE!!!

You guys want to trade Herm Edwards for Andy Reid? C'mon-straight up. You stole that Bolts game. Plus, you're in the NFC. There's a great chance that the Iggles still get a wildcard berth. We Jets fans are rooting for the Matt Leinart/Reggie Bush Sweepstakes Golden Ticket, and I can guarantee that Herm the Idiot will mess that up, as he has everthing else.

With my Packers only 1-6, I'm thinking they should forget the rest of the season and start dreaming of drafting Reggie Bush. That might get Favre to come back for another season.

We're doomed - DOOMED! All I wanted was one Super Bowl win, so I could quit winners, walk away from the table and never torture myself with these guys again. They got so close last year and seemed to be the favorite to get there again this year. And now this.

To paraphrase a wise man - Sports is just one crushing defeat after another until you just wish Flanders was dead.

Might as well just plug the Jack into your veins -- the Iggles have suspended TO indefinitely.
