42-3

I didn't realize that the Eagles were playing the University of San Francisco.

Not that this game means anything. People frequently forget that in the NFL, the first six games of the season have little value so long as you don't got 1-5. The important thing is to make it to December without any major injuries. That's when the season really starts.

So since it's Monday night, let the trash talking between the Cowboys and Skins fans begin. But I'll ask the question on everyone's mind: Is Jenny going to wear her old Aikman jersey while she watches the game?

Skins should win 24-10

Actually, I think this game means more than you think. Had the Birds not completely dismantled the Niners it wouldve escalated the "window has closed", "Dmac is Hurt" etc etc. The NFC is weak and we will still dominate (assuming no major injuries).

Cowboys should win 21-7

As a Giants fan, you have to root for the Skins, since the Cowboys are probably a better team. Rather have the 'Skins at 2-0 than the 'Boys. I hope the Giants win tonight. Let the "it's bs that the Giants get an extra home game" debate begin!

I'd be anonymous too if I predicted a Redskins win tonight. Dallas wins and covers the spread (let's not pretend that isn't important). The Redskins begin the countdown on Danny's patience: when does he fire/force out Joe Gibbs?

I predict Brunell will fare better against the Dallas defense than will Bledsoe against the Redskins' defense.

BTW, where was the Eagles post last week?

Yeah, I wore the ol' number eight. I shed a few tears during the halftime ceremony.

Then I spent the rest of the night considering becoming a Patriots fan. No, no I didn't. But I did use every profane word in my vocabulary and made up some new ones, too.

I think the Redskins cheated somehow. I'm having my people look into it.

Jenny, want to talk about cheating? Let's talk about last year's monday night game against the Skins. Walt Harris gets flagged for interference on 3rd down in the end zone on a pass intended for Glenn. Only there was no interference, Glenn pushed Harris to the ground, the league apologized to the Skins for such a shitty call. Dallas scores on the next play, TD. Second half: Terrance Newmann yanks Rod Gardner to the ground in the endzone so hard his pads come out of his uniform, but no interference is called. Again the league HQ says they made a mistake. Next play, Brunell sacked out of FG range. So instead of getting the ball on the 1 yard line for an easy TD, we get no points. Two calls, a swing of 14 points. How about the Patrick Crayton TD game? How about the 21pt 4th quarter comeback game and subsequent OT TD to the rocket? How about the Davis fumble with 20 seconds leading to walk-off Tim Seder FG? Now you know what it feels like to be a Skins fan and lose a game you should have won. Die cowboys DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
